That's your answer when a new parent asks a room full of people if anyone wants to hold the baby.
Do you delight at the idea of working different days and hours with a high probability of overtime pay? Both of these soon-to-be first-time parents are physicians who each work insane 60-to-80-hour weeks.
They'll know their schedules about a month in advance and notify you, who'll need to flexibly adjust.
However, regardless of your arrival time, you'll show up alert and ready to hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide the newborn back to sleep.
Get ready to flex that infant experience you've collected throughout your childcare career.
When the baby's awake, you'll actively engage her in creative activities by reading her stories, playing with blocks, and teaching her letters, shapes, and colors to promote her development.
Help with any task you can complete while the little lady sleeps would be tremendously appreciated.
This includes her laundry, washing bottles, making sure nursery supplies are stocked, general tidying up, and light meal prep.
There are no pets, there's a mild seafood allergy, and due to their professions, you must have all your vaccines updated.
There might be minimal driving required to the pediatrician's office for appointments in your own vehicle.
These parents intend to keep their nanny working with them for at least the next couple of years, but ultimately hope this person will become a permanent member of their extended family.
The little lady is due at the end of March and Mom will be on maternity leave until July so there's plenty of time to find the perfect fit and overlap care.
So even if you're on assignment, APPLY right now anyway because time is on our side, and we can accommodate notice requirements.
